Great Britain: Southport Pier Co. Ltd., a group of 32 x 6% debentures for £100, 1920, black. Only 200 issued. The 3600 foot pier opened in 1860 and was extended twice in the 1860's bringing it to 4380 feet. Acquired by the local authority in 1936. Like many piers it was subject to fire and the pavilion burnt down no less than 3 times. It is currently the second longest pier in the country. EF (32).
