Medieval Silver Pennies (46), from Edward I (1272-1307) to Edward IV, First Reign (1461-1470), including Longcross Coinages, Classes 10cf, London; Canterbury; also, Third Issue, 'Florin' Coinage, London; and Fourth Coinage, Pre-Treaty Period, Durham; London; York; and, Transitional-Treaty Period, Penny, c. 1361, York, (Spink 1613), fine; found on pasture by DJ, 5 May 1997; additionally, Anglo-Irish Issues, Halfpenny, chipped; found at 'Bazzard Church Pasture, near the A413, on the afternoon of 23 March 1997; and, Scotland, Alexander III, Penny, 1280-1286; and, Halfpennies (7), including Edward III, Henry V and Edward IV, in generally poor state, some with evidence of gilding, others clearly porous from soil deposition, others again chipped and cracked, but undeniably an excellent ‘starter pack’ for the budding budget-conscious Medieval collector (55)
