General Service 1962-2007, 1 clasp, Dhofar (Q8094815 Sac B C Eyre RAF ), together with its named box of issue, nearly extremely fine

Brian Clifford Eyre was born on 28 November 1951 and enlisted on 8 June 1971 as a trainee Aircraftman. Appointed Gunner and Leading Aircraftman on 27 October 1971 he was promoted Senior Aircraftman the following year on 8 June 1972. His reference on discharge states:

'SAC Eyre has served in the Royal Air Force Regiment for nine years. He is a loyal and hardworking man who mixes well at all levels. He has accepted responsibilities willingly and completed all tasks given him with enthusiasm and skill. Eyre should prove an asset to any organisation he may join as he was to the Royal Air Force.'

Eyre was discharged on 7 June 1977 with his character on discharge described as 'Exemplary'. The General Service Medal is his full entitlement; sold together with an original certificate of qualifications and R.A.F. Regiment shoulder title as well as copied research comprising a Job Description and Certificate of Discharge.
