Great War Bronze Memorial Plaque (Percival Paine; Reginald Paine), both with large hole drilled at 12 o'clock, polished good fine (2)
Percival Paine was born in Forest Hill and enlisted at Woolwich. He was killed in action whilst serving with the 16th Battalion, King's Royal Rifle Corps on 17 April 1918. He is commemroated on the Tyne Cot Memorial and is entitled to a Pair only.
Reginald Paine enlisted at Bloomsbury and died of wounds on 22 July 1916, aged 22 whilst serving with the 16th Battalion, London Regiment. He was the son of Henry and Louie Elizabeth Paine, of 16 Gaisford Street, London. He is entitled to a Pair only.
