Victory Medal 1914-19 (13815 Pte. G. Jukes. Bedf. R.), very fine.

George Jukes was born and enlisted at Batterea. He served in France from 1 May 1915 and was killed in action on 16 June 1915 whilst serving with the 2nd Battalion. Jukes is commemroated on the Le Touret Memorial, France.
