Victory Medal 1914-19 (L-8858 Pte. J. R. Steel. R. W. Kent R.), extremely fine

John Richard Steel was born at Deptford and enlisted at New Cross. He served in France from 15 August 1914 and was killed in action on 1 September 1914. Steel is commemorated on La Ferte-Sous-Jouarre Memorial, France and is entitled to a 1914 Star and Bar Trio.
