British War Medal 1914-20 (3951 Pte. E. J Casey. 23-Lond. R.), contact marks, very fine

Edward James Casey was born at Eton and enlisted at Clapham Junction. He served in France with the 23rd (County of London) Battalion, London Regiment from 2 September 1915 and was killed in action on 21 February 1917. Casey is buried in the Railway Dugouts Burial Ground (Transport Farm), Belgium.
