St George and Dragon within Garter, milled edge, 7.96g, 6h (Stratos 114; Marsh 1; MCE 464; Spink 3785), the hair lightly rubbed and with a handful of faint contact marks to surfaces, otherwise with a residual lustre to legends and a red tone, a very fine example of this ever popular first year of issue type
