Great Britain. Ireland: Dublin and Meath Railway Company, £25 share, 1858, #262, issued to Lord Dunsany, vignette of company seal, black. Organised in 1858 to build a line from Athboy and Trim to Dublin. Construction began at Meath end but local landowners asked too much for their land so work soon stopped. The developers eventually built a 26 mile line from Navan to Clonsilla. AEF.
