Great Britain: Moffat Hydropathic Company Limited, £10 shares, 18[79], #223, scrollwork at left, black. The sulphurous waters of Moffat became popular with travellers during the 19th century which led to the building of the hydro in 1878. The palatial hotel boasted over 300 rooms and an enormous dining room. It was destroyed by fire in 1921. VF and rare.
