Queen's South Africa 1899-1902, 2 clasps, Cape Colony, South Africa 1902 (9041 Pte J. Harvey. Gren: Gds:), minor contact wear, edge bruising, very fine

John Harvey was born at Creech St. Michael, Tuanton in 1878 and attested on 14 August 1900 at Cardiff with the Grenadier Guards. Transferred to the Army Reserve on 14 August 1903 he was discharged on 13 August 1912; sold together with copied medal roll and transcribed pension documents.
