Queen's South Africa 1899-1902, 2 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State (5648 Sgt. G. Jones, Rl: Lanc: Regt.), very fine

George Jones was born in October 1878 and enlisted on 15 January 1898 at Barrow-in-Furness, at which point he was working in the shipyard. Having served in South Africa, he was promoted Sergeant on 24 June 1903 and was discharged on 20 March 1913; sold together with copied research.
