1929 (11 Aug.) mixed franking registered special delivery airmail envelope from Bowmanville to Stendal, Germany, franked with 5c airmail paying the air rate to New York (from Montreal), 10c Scroll paying the registration fee, 20c Special Delivery, and 8c Scroll paying the surface rate by sea to Great Britain, a block of four GB 1½d red-brown for the air fee on to Germany, with Bowmanville (11.8), Toronto & Montreal RPO (12.8), Montreal (13.8), New York (13.8), London (21.8), Berlin (22.8), and Stendal (22.8) backstamps; some edge creasing, an unusual and striking cover.
