1942-46 selection of Censored mail (27) written-up on pages including several envelopes, Air letters and registered envelopes, bearing Basutoland stamps used in Egypt with various Censor markings, a range of incoming active service mail including a 3d. registered letter uprated with GB 10d. from Field Post Office at Helmeith, Cairo to Morija, Basutoland, and another from Field Post Office at Moascar, Egypt with the same franking, several other covers and Air letters with a range of Army and R.A.F. Censor markings, Censored civilian mail, outgoing mail from Basutoland to Army Post Office, Durban addressed to a Capt. Norman Langton bearing Basutoland ½d., 1d., 1½d., 2d., 4d. and 6d., forwarded to P.O.W. Camp 336, P.O.W. mail, African Pioneer Corps mail, High Commission Territories Corps mail (3) one with large 'orderly room/ h.c.t. corps' violet cachet, etc. A good group for the specialist, chiefly fine and some attractive frankings and scarce cancellations
