Victoria (1837-1901), 'Golden Jubilee' Proof Shilling, 1887, 'Wide Date', 'Jubilee' bust left, thirteen pearls on necklace, J.E.B. on truncation, rev. crowned shield in Garter, edge milled, 5.69g, 12h (Bull 3138; ESC 1352; Spink 3926), faint handling marks in otherwise brilliant fields, a small scuff by F: D: and two small marks on brow, otherwise the central devices sharply cameo, the eye-appeal further enhanced by peripheral fiery-orange flare set against blue-gray contrasts, good extremely fine
