Efficiency Medal, Militia, G.V.R. (529838 Sjt. R. Clare. R.A.P.C.), good very fine

Reginald Clare was born at Ash, Guildford, Surrey in 1904, the son of Mr J. Clare of 2 Cosby Cottage, Ash. Enlisting in the Royal Tank Corps on 17 October 1922 at Aldershot he served with the 15th/19th Hussars until 20 November 1923 when he transferred to the 7th Hussars. Transferring to the Reserves on 13 May 1927 and was discharged on 16 October 1934 at Canterbury only to re-enlist with the Royal Army Pay Corps on 1 January 1935; sold together with copied service records.
