M.S.M. awarded with Annuity of £10, 22 April 1923.
Charles Scrimgour was born in India on 5 October 1851 and enlisted in the Royal Marines at Liverpool on 5 October 1869. Having earned his L.S. & G.C. on 18 December 1881, he saw active service in Egypt and was discharged on the conclusion of service on 1 January 1890; sold together with copied service record.
