Robert Archibald Graham served in France with the Gordon Highlanders from October 1917. He had a duplicate Pair of Medals issued (on payment) in October 1923. Murphy was appointed Staff Officer, Malaya in October 1938 and made Deputy Assistant Adjutant General on 1 May 1939.
