Tornabahadur Gurung served in the Gurkha Signals from 1 April 1950-16 May 1970 and his conduct was rated as 'excellent'. He was employed as Supervisor in the Communicating Department of the British Project constructing the National East West Highway (Butwal to Narayanghat) from 1970-75.
