Henry George Bashell also spelled 'Bashill' was born on 16 August 1891, the son of George and Amy Bashell. Enlisting with the Royal Engineers on 20 May 1917 he was called up on 1 June and entered the war in France on 20 July 1918. Returned to the reserve on 19 February 1919 he died in 1978 whilst living in East Sussex; sold together with copied service records, census data and medal rolls.
