George Walter Fieldsend was born in 1982, and worked as a Shopkeeprs Assistant in Thurlston, Yorkshire prior to enlisting with the Royal Engineers, he served with 289 Company during the Great War. Returning to Yorkshire after the war Fieldsend died there in 1962; sold together with copied census data and a medal roll.
