The St. Albans Collection of English Gold Coins | William III (1694-1702), Guinea, 1695, first laureate head right, rev. stops after MAG, FRA and HIB, crowned shields cruciform, six strings to early harp, nine billets, emblem-adorned plain sceptres in angles, edge obliquely milled, 8.34g, 7h (MCE 174; Farey 370; EGC 403; Spink 3458), lightly cleaned with traces of flecking around truncation, otherwise residually lustrous, the central devices pleasingly struck-up for issue, a bold very fine, with NGC 'St Albans' Certification, graded AU Details ~ Cleaned (#6295553-023)
