Two Rare King Charles II Restoration Acts of Parliament
1661 and 1673, two printed acts, the first a Commonwealth Act "For continuing the Assessment of one hundred and twenty thousand pounds per Mensem for Six Months ... For Maintenance of the Armies in England, Ireland and Scotland", two leaves among the earliest in King Charles II's restoration period; The latter and Act of King Charles II "Act for Reviving the Judicature for determination of differences touching Houses Burn down and Demolished by reason of the late Fire which happened in London, and for Rebuilding of the Navy-office", on five leaves bound by pin. An interesting duo.
