Brocklehurst Penny Pink envelope to Macclesfield uprated with 1841 1d. red-brown, plate 123, MC (good to large margins) and 1841 2d. blue, plate 4, GJ-GL strip of three (close to very large margins) cancelled by indistinct "730" numerals with "Registered" in red ink at left, the reverse with Stafford and Macclesfield (12.8) c.d.s. in blue and the complete red wax seal; some light staining on the reverse, an attractive and unusual franking; the envelope seems too small to warrant the additional 1d. franking.
