1850-51 a group of entires to Captain Albany of the 46th Regiment in Leeds or Bradford, from the Paymaster in London, each bears 1841 1d, red-brown tied by London numeral with Charing Cross Maltese Cross datestamp alongside, the arrival c.d.s. in blue is either on the reverse or the address side. All are marked "Registered Letter" and most sent "O.H.M.S."; the letters included banknotes. Vertical folding creases. A good group. (5 covers)
