1761 (16 March) entire letter to London marked "By the Newcastle Packet", rated "3N", deleted, then "IN6", struck with superb "jamaica" straight-line handstamp (J2, Proud PS6) alongside London Bishop mark "13/MA" on the reverse, endorsed "Received 13 may Newcastle Packet". Some minor splitting along folds otherwise a fine strike of this rare handstamp. Photo
