1884 (25 Sept.) envelope (210x103mm.) registered from Italian Consul in Melbourne to Rome, marked "Via Brindisi", bearing 1875 Bell 1d., 1/- (4) and 1880 Naish 2d. (2), all tied by "1" in oval of bars, showing "registered/melbourne" oval datestamp with arrival c.d.s. on reverse; the envelope slightly truncated at left and with a few, mainly peripheral, faults nevertheless a rare and most attractive franking.
