1858 (15 July) entire letter from Melbourne to Boston USA, marked "Per Emeu via Marseilles", bearing1854-59 Woodblock imperf 2/- dull bluish green on pale yellow [13], imperf Octagonal 1/- and rouletted Emblem 4d. on vertically laid paper, all tied by light Barred Numeral "1" and "10" in circle, showing manuscript "32" in red, London Paid and New York transit datestamps with despatch c.d.s. on reverse. A fine example of the 3/4d. ½oz. rate to USA via Marseilles. Photo
