1877 (23 Jul.) envelope from Greymouth to San Francisco via Nelson bearing 2d. rose strip of five and a single each tied by Greymouth c.d.s. with red 'paid all' handstamped in red and 1877 (3 Nov.) envelope (trimmed at top) from Christchurch to England bearing 1/- green tied by Christchurch c.d.s., straight line 'registered' handstamp and London Registered oval alongside; the adhesives on both envelopes with a little toning in places but an attractive pair
