1857-63 Imperforate Printed by J. Richardson in Auckland
1862 (11 Jul.) envelope from Wellington "pr Queen via Marseilles" to Oxford, bearing 1/- dull emerald-green with clear to large margins on three sides and neatly cancelled "7", upon arrival redirected to Weymouth with Great Britain 1d. red Star affixed alongside the 1/- and cancelled with Oxford "603" duplex, the reverse with dispatch, London (13.9), Oxford (13.9) and Weymouth (14.9) c.d.s. A rare and unusual franking of the 1/- rate for letters between ¼oz. and ½oz. Odenweller (2006) and R.P.S. (2007) Certificates. S.G. 16, CP A6c (1)
