1938-54 perf 13x12½ 50c. reddish purple and black, a marginal unmounted mint block of fifty being the bottom five rows of the sheet with imprint and plate numbers "3/3A" showing dot removed on all except R.6/1. 7/2, 7/4 and 9/1; folded along central vertical perfs and some minor gum creases. A very scarce multiple as most sheets were split to provide pairs with and without dot. S.G. 144e/ea, £1,670
