Officials, 1885 overprinted "service/puttialla/state" in red, ½a. and 2a. both handstamped "specimen." Type 15, part original gum. A rare duo which although thought to be reprints, because other Convention States items overprinted with Type 15 are believed to be issued stamps, Phillip Kinns suggests that these two "reprints" may, in fact, be essays or proofs.
