1874 (15 Aug) large size registered wrapper from Liverpool addressed to New York franked with 5/- pale rose plate 1 horizontal strip of three (FC-FE), 2/- pale blue plate 1, 1/- pale green plate 9 and two example of 4d. vermilion plate 13, stamps cancelled by "466" barred oval, alongside "Liverpool registered" double concentric rings in red for "15 AU 74", hand endorsed "per Cunard Stmr" and "Registered 15/8/74" in red, the reverse with "New York registered" arrival c.d.s. for "AUG 26", Brandon certificate (2000), exhibition item bearing a truly exceptional franking.
