Count enthroned facing, inside gothic canopy, holding sword and resting hand on coat-of-arms decorated with eagle, rev. + ° XP'C : VINCIT : XP'E : REGNAT : XP'E IMPERAT, cross tréflée and feuillue within quadrilobe, trefoil fleurée at end of each arc, trilobe in spandrels, 2.23g [34.6grns], 9h, m.m. cross pattée (Vernier 3; Elsen 24; Delmonte 455; Gaillard 208; Fb. 153), striking wear to portrait and in corresponding area of reverse, a trace of doubling to peripheries, otherwise lustrous, very fine / good very fine, rare and seldom encountered at auction
