1896-1904 Postal History selection (9) including 1896 (3 April) envelope registered to Paris franked 75c., St. Louis cancellation and with blue Ligne J datestamp alongside, a wide variety of transit and arrival datestamps on reverse; 1901 (Dec.) envelope registered to London, franked 50c., St. Louis cancellation, framed "A.R." and octagonal Line J, Buenos Ayres a Bordeaux datestamps alongside; a few stampless envelopes due to the shortage of stamps in the colony .
