1909 Louis Blériot signed dinner menu from the celebratory banquet held by La Colony Francaise de Londres, under the patronage of M. Paul Cambon, then-Ambassador of France to the United Kingdom, at the Princes' Hotel & Restaurant, Piccadilly, in honour Bleriot's historic cross-channel flight, the menu depicting Bleriot in front of his biplane, signed L BLÉRIOT in pencil on front; a rare and historic item, believed to have been obtained by the grandfather of a previous owner, who was present at the dinner .
