10c. bistre-yellow, two examples, good margins except for one side being cut into in one stamp, used in combination with 1867-68 Empire Laureated 20c. blue, type II, on 10 May 1871 envelope from Lyon to Roanne, cancelled by "gross chiffres" on dispatch, struck with c.d.s. on receipt on back; some imperfections to envelope of which one wrinkle affecting one 10c., the 20c. with corner crease in one perforation, nevertheless an exceedingly scarce franking.
