U.S.A.: Old Colony Rail Road Company, MA, a group of 9 registered bonds for various amounts in thousands of dollars, dated [1888] to [1892], numbered between 250 and 641, payable by the 1st January 1938, steam train at top left, black, some signed by Frederick Lothrop Ames (1835-1893). He was the son of Oliver Ames and inherited a fortune in Railroads. He was reported to have been the wealthiest man in Massachusetts at the time of his death. All cancelled. VF (9). NO RESERVE
