Great Britain: North British Locomotive Co. Ltd., £1 preference shares, 19[20], #741, vignette of 4-4-2 steam locomotive at top, mauve. Created in 1903 by the merger of 3 Glasgow locomotive manufacturers to create the largest locomotive company in Europe. Restructured in 1959 to move from steam to diesel-electric but this proved unsuccessful and the company was put into iquidation in 1962. VF and a scarce early date for this company.
