Great Britain: Swift of Coventry Limited, 'A' Prior Preference shares, 19[29], #246, green. Had its origins with the Coventry Sewing Machine Company in 1859. Swift Cycle Company formed in 1896 making cycles and then motor cycles from 1898. Swift cars were produced from 1900. Name changed to this in 1918. The company continued in production until 1931. VF.
