Brazil: State of Alagoas, 5% Gold Loan, 1906, pair of specimen bonds for £50, and £100, dated London 1909, ornate scrollwork at sides, coat of arms at top, blue and green respectively, perforated CANCELLED and stamped with file location on face, with all coupons. The £100 bond has been seen issued, we have never seen an issued example of the £50 piece. Light toning, very fine and rare (2) [R12].
