Great Britain: F.W.Woolworth & Co. Ltd., 5 shilling ordinary shares, 193(6), #36004, large format piece with company monogram in centre, ornate border, blue. Company founded by American, Frank Woolworth in 1909 to become a much loved household name on the British high street. Name changed to Woolworths Group plc in recent times. Collapsed in 2008 and only the online store survives after the name was purchased by Shop Direct. VF and scarce.
