Great Britain: New River Company Ltd., £1 shares, 19[12], #2005, black, printed by Waterlow & Sons, together with a pair of B debenture stock certificates dated 188[8] and 18[96], blue, also printed by Waterlow, stamped cancelled. The New River Company was formed in 1613 to supply fresh water to London, drawing from the River Lea in Hertfordshire to Islington in North London. The first certificate is rare, all VF (3).
