Great Britain: Automatic Telephone Company (1903) Limited, 2/6d ordinary shares, 190[3], #475, ornate border, green. Signed by Max Margowski as director. Margowski was an American who came to the UK to organise this company using the Apostoloff patents. From the outset there was a battle between Margowski and company shareholders with accusations of fraud and misconduct. This led to the reorganisation of the company in 1903 and its liquidation a year later and then to bankruptcy court for Max Margowski. VF and scarce.
