U.S.A.: Antioch College, Ohio, $500 bond, 1855, #27, vignette of college building top centre, black, with coupons. Formed by the Christian Connection as a non sectarian college admitting both boys and girls. It was one of the earliest colleges not to discriminate against race. It however ran into fininacial difficulties and was bankrupt by 1858. It was however reorganised several more times over the years. GVF.
