Republic of New Granada, Deferred Loan, 1845, bond for £100, #7347, coat of arms at top, engine turned scrollwork at side, text in English and Spanish, blue, with coupons. Issued in lieu of 50% of the debt of Colombian Loans of 1822 and 1824. Colombia, until 1830, consisted of the territories of modern Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador. With the secession of the latter the territory was named New Granada, then Granadine Republic (1858), United States of Colombia (1863) and finally Republic of Colombia in 1886. VF and rare.
