This coin appears to be a Codrington 'type II', although he did not describe this exact variant. His supplementary plate, ill. 5 depicts a coin with a similar obverse, but with no flower above the head of the standing figure.
A coin of this exact type has been recorded by the cataloguer and an XRF test revealed it contained 57-60% of gold, 35-37% of silver and 3-6% copper.
