1868 (24 Jan.) double rate mourning envelope "via Bermuda" to Port Dover, Ontario, rated "8" and bearing 1861-70 (1d.) deep blue and (4d.) dull brown-red pair each cancelled with bootheel "1", manuscript "10cts" and "Pd 10c.", the reverse with despatch, St. Thomas (29.1), Hamilton (2.2), Montreal (5.2) and arrival (26.2) datestamps; minor stain at lower left corner though the only recorded multiple of the 4d. dull brown-red recorded on cover.
