1872 long blue envelope to London marked with a bold "Registered" at left bearing a line of Chalon Heads with 1864-67 3d. lilac (3), 4d. yellow (2) with 1871 1d. brown and 6d. pale blue, each tied by a good Wellington duplex, London arrival c.d.s. (6.9) and the standard London registered dated oval code "A", no markings on the reverse. There is a heavy vertical folding crease and a few trivial imperfections. A magnificent franking.
