1858 (9 Dec,) grey-blue envelope to le Havre, France "Per Overland" bearing 1854 1/- dull blue horizontal pair (fair margins) partly overlapped by 1857 imperf. 1d. yellow-green pair cancelled by "89" barred circle and bearing London small crown/"registered", standard-type London registered dated oval code "M" (12.2) and "PD" in circle, Calais transit with straight-line "chargé", the reverse with an array of c.d.s. including Melbourne despatch and four wax seals "calais/a/paris"; a few faults.
